Newpark Resources, Inc. today announced results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2010.  Total revenues were $181.4 million for the second quarter of 2010 compared to $160.8 million for the first quarter of 2010 and $109.6 million for the second quarter of 2009.  Net income for the second quarter of 2010 was $10.8 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, compared to net income for the first quarter of 2010 of $7.8 million, or $0.09 per diluted share, and a net loss for the second quarter of 2009 of $8.8 million, or a loss of $0.10 per share.
